Engineering Project Manager
Lead engineering project planning and cross-functional execution in a company developing radar systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects and cross-functional execution from planning through completion.
- Build and track project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate work across engineering, R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and business lines.
- Monitor progress and manage execution gaps, risks, issues, and critical paths.
- Lead project meetings and execution reviews, track actions, and close open items.
- Align engineering activities with R&D plans, production priorities, and business milestones.
- Provide project status updates, dashboards, and management reports.
- Escalate significant risks, delays, resource constraints, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Use project management systems to maintain project control and execution visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or another relevant field.
- 2–5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or PMO work in a technology environment.
- Experience building and managing Gantt-based work plans using project management tools.
- Strong planning, analytical, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional work, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and drive execution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jira and ERP systems.
- Experience with multidisciplinary systems, manufacturing, new product introduction, or transition to production.
