Hardware Engineering Manager
Lead the hardware engineering function and execution across R&D projects for semiconductor inspection and metrology systems, taking products from development through production.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the hardware engineering team, including resource allocation, goal setting, recruitment, and professional development.
- Own hardware execution across multiple R&D projects, managing priorities, schedules, risks, and delivery.
- Set technical direction and review architecture and engineering decisions, balancing performance, reliability, cost, manufacturability, and schedule.
- Coordinate execution and ownership with engineering, operations, procurement, quality, safety, and service teams.
- Lead hardware activities through NPI and production, including supplier readiness, documentation, cost reduction, and resolution of major production and field issues.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of hardware or electronics engineering experience, including several years in engineering management or technical leadership.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary R&D teams and taking products from development through production.
- Knowledge of electronic system architecture, analog and digital electronics, power, PCB systems, communication interfaces, sensors, and motion systems.
- Understanding of electrical safety, grounding, EMC, and compliance.
