Join an early-stage B2B AI SaaS company as a hands-on technology partner. Lead engineering and help scale the platform, team, and operations. Remote from Israel. Equity-based partnership with no salary initially; future compensation and office arrangements will be discussed as the company develops.
Responsibilities
- Shape technology strategy, architecture, engineering workflows, and delivery
- Write and review code, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver features with the team
- Lead and mentor the existing development team, set priorities and engineering standards, and recruit as the company grows
- Prepare the platform for increased traffic and data volumes while maintaining performance, security, reliability, and infrastructure cost control
- Work with the founder to balance product delivery with engineering needs
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software development experience, including technical leadership and hands-on full-stack development
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, NestJS, PHP, Laravel, Python, React, and TypeScript
- Experience building and operating SaaS products, including APIs, integrations, databases, queues, and background processing
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and systems designed for high traffic
- Practical experience with AI integrations, LLMs, and AI agents
- Experience with Codex, Claude Code, or similar AI development tools, with sound code review and validation practices
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, Linux, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD
- Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting
Nice to have
- Knowledge of mobile development and mobile-friendly product experiences
- Familiarity with Jira, Slack, Postman, and modern development workflows
- Experience in startups and building products with limited resources
