Supply Chain Engineering Intern
Support logistics and supply chain operations by analyzing performance, improving processes, coordinating with suppliers, and developing automation and reporting workflows. The role is hybrid, primarily based in Haifa, with occasional work in Kiryat Gat, Petah Tikva, and Jerusalem.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve logistics, storage, transportation, and shipping processes
- Track service-level performance, delivery times, exceptions, and returns with logistics providers and vendors
- Build operational KPI reports and use data analysis to identify quality and efficiency improvements
- Create and implement workflow automations and AI agents for logistics operations
- Write basic to intermediate SQL queries and integrate ERP, WMS, and CRM systems
- Support supplier assessments, benchmarking, development, and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate across teams to improve logistics, inventory, and procurement strategies
- Contribute to continuous improvement, cost reduction, reliability, and sustainability initiatives
- Prepare technical documentation and data visualizations; support market intelligence and industry analysis
- Apply lean management principles to improve operational processes
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- At least four semesters remaining in the degree program
- Available to work at least 2.5–3 days per week
- Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic familiarity with Smartsheet and workflow automation tools
- Basic experience building AI bots or agents
Nice to have
- Basic Python knowledge
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems
- Basic to intermediate SQL proficiency
