Full-time, on-site role at a retail company’s headquarters in Kfar Saba. Own planning for assigned sports categories, from demand forecasts and inventory orders to store allocation and stock performance monitoring. Reports to the Head of Supply or Supply Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage planning for assigned sports categories, including demand forecasting, inventory planning and ordering, store allocation, product availability, and inventory and sales performance monitoring.
- Build and regularly update sales forecasts based on business performance, seasonality, promotions, holidays, weather and local events.
- Plan and place inventory orders with suppliers and international partners, aligning quantities and timing with local demand and lead times.
- Manage replenishment and store allocations using planning and control systems to reduce stockouts and maintain product availability.
- Analyze data and performance indicators, identify trends, and improve inventory levels and commercial performance.
- Resolve daily exceptions, logistics delays, demand changes and system issues that affect product supply.
- Coordinate with sports and commercial teams, retail, eCommerce, supply chain and logistics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and management, logistics and supply chain, economics, business administration, information systems or a related field.
- Full proficiency in Excel.
- Very good English.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with data-driven decision-making.
- Planning, organization, prioritization and independent working skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.
Nice to have
- Training or specialization in supply chain and inventory planning.
- Experience in data analysis, forecasting, inventory management or supply chain planning.
- Experience in retail, eCommerce or FMCG.
- Familiarity with SAP, Priority, Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Initiative, flexibility, curiosity and quick learning.
- Interest in sports and an active lifestyle.
