A fashion and apparel company is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to manage supplier communication and coordinate pricing, purchase orders, samples, timelines, and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing communication with global suppliers, including negotiations and pricing.
- Coordinate pricing, purchase orders, and product development tracking.
- Ensure samples are sent and received on schedule.
- Monitor the quality-control process.
- Work with design, procurement, pattern-making, supplier, e-commerce, and marketing teams.
- Make system-wide decisions in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Relevant academic education.
- Good command of English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently across multiple teams and prioritize tasks.
- Experience monitoring and driving processes.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in buying, product development coordination, supplier relations, or procurement.
- Background in design, textiles, graphic design, or pattern making.
