Production Line Manager
Manage production and assembly activities, including subcontractors and the integration lab, for complex defense systems. Own production execution, quality, schedule, cost, delivery, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end production and assembly across subcontractors, including planning, coordination, execution, and performance monitoring.
- Manage integration activities and ensure production readiness.
- Define manufacturing processes, work instructions, control points, and KPIs.
- Allocate workload and capacity across subcontractors and monitor production progress.
- Resolve bottlenecks, deviations, and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures, regulations, and applicable defense standards; prepare for audits and inspections.
- Lead production issue investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Support design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly activities and product transition from development to production.
- Improve manufacturing, assembly, testing, and debugging processes to reduce costs and lead times and improve productivity and reliability.
- Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, procurement, logistics, quality, and management to maintain production continuity.
- Report production status, risks, bottlenecks, and performance against targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electronics engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in production, operations, manufacturing, or subcontractor management.
- Experience working with manufacturing subcontractors.
- Experience with complex systems, system integration, and precision assembly.
- Familiarity with quality processes, audits, and defense-related regulatory requirements.
- Native Hebrew and good technical English proficiency.

- Experience in defense, aerospace, or electro-mechanical environments.
