Senior Technical Program Manager, Chip DevOps and Methodology
Lead cross-functional programs that build and scale engineering infrastructure for semiconductor design. Own unified silicon design methodologies, EDA toolchains, cloud compute environments, and automated workflows across design, verification, CAD, and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Define, standardize, and drive adoption of unified design and verification methodologies.
- Manage infrastructure and CAD roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and delivery risks.
- Oversee deployment, licensing, and scaling of EDA tools across hybrid or cloud environments.
- Lead optimization of HPC clusters, storage, and cloud infrastructure for simulation, synthesis, and physical design workloads.
- Drive automated workflows, continuous integration, and continuous verification pipelines.
- Coordinate with design, verification, CAD, and infrastructure teams to establish consistent engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience as a technical program manager or engineering lead.
- Experience with unified design and verification methodologies, software engineering lifecycle management, or SRE principles.
- Experience with the front-to-back silicon design lifecycle or with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code environments for engineering workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience with HPC cloud platforms, grid computing, and large-scale storage architectures.
- Experience managing infrastructure and centralized configuration for EDA tool suites.
- Experience managing EDA vendor and cloud provider relationships and forecasting infrastructure compute budgets.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.
- Experience managing infrastructure and CAD roadmaps with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks.
- Ability to translate complex technical infrastructure needs into clear business and program outcomes.
