A defense technology company is seeking an R&D PMO to support project execution, planning, controls, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams and factory operations.
Responsibilities
- Support execution of R&D projects and work plans.
- Track annual plans, progress, objectives, resources, and risks.
- Maintain project controls using project management systems.
- Coordinate resources and major breakdowns with factory teams.
- Monitor schedules and manage risks to meet project milestones.
- Support development teams with procurement and logistics.
- Coordinate with R&D leads, project managers, system engineers, procurement, and production teams.
- Coordinate project lifecycle activities, including KOM, design reviews, installation, integration, and validation.
- Keep project teams focused on their objectives.
- Manage subcontractor timelines, compliance, terms, and financials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 3–4 years of experience in relevant roles.
- Experience in multidisciplinary R&D companies.
- Experience with BI tools or BI-related work.
- Experience building and managing Gantt-based work plans; proficiency in MS Project.
- Strong cross-functional leadership, assertiveness, and a proactive approach.
- Systemic, process-oriented thinking and the ability to analyze and improve workflows.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Previous experience as a PMO.
- Experience with Jira and Priority.
