Deputy Head of Project Management

Lead the construction and infrastructure project function, from initiation through handover. Set priorities and allocate resources, manage project managers and external suppliers, and guide the function’s work plan, budgets, and service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the administration’s strategy and influence its work plans
  • Oversee construction and infrastructure projects from initiation through handover
  • Manage project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Manage the administration’s business and professional operations, budgets, and targets
  • Monitor work-plan delivery and adapt to changing requirements
  • Coach and guide project managers and set professional ways of working
  • Develop and retain staff and foster a culture of innovation, quality, service, and teamwork
  • Set priorities, allocate resources, and deliver commitments to customers and work plans
  • Coordinate with company leadership, procurement, finance, execution teams, and business units
  • Coordinate and oversee work involving government bodies, regulators, utilities, and other external organizations

Requirements

  • Israeli citizenship
  • Academic degree in civil engineering and/or architecture
  • At least 10 years of experience managing construction projects and permitting processes
  • At least 10 years of experience managing planning and project execution
  • At least 3 years of experience managing employees
  • Experience managing construction project managers

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree
  • Good command of English
  • Experience with tenders
  • Knowledge of statutory planning and real estate
  • Experience working with government ministries and public companies
  • Experience in construction management and supervision companies or similar roles in security organizations
