Project Manager
A nonprofit providing free specialist medical services to Holocaust survivors is hiring a full-time Project Manager as maternity leave cover, with possible continuation depending on organizational needs and mutual fit. The role leads projects from planning through implementation, supports service.
Responsibilities
- Manage new and existing projects from planning through implementation and ongoing operation.
- Set work plans, objectives, timelines, and success measures; monitor progress, resolve obstacles, track budgets, and report results.
- Expand projects into new areas and to additional target populations; identify service gaps and help develop new services and the infrastructure to deliver them.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local authorities, hospitals, health funds, academic institutions, and social organizations.
- Plan and coordinate field activities, medical service days, and joint events; assess results and identify follow-up opportunities.
- Collect and analyze project data, prepare reports and presentations, support funder reporting, and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Previous project management experience, including leading processes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive initiatives from idea to execution.
- Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Full proficiency in Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and spoken Hebrew.
- Willingness to travel and conduct field work throughout Israel.
Nice to have
- Experience in the nonprofit sector, healthcare, or local government.
- Experience developing partnerships with public bodies, social organizations, or medical institutions.
- Experience with budgets, project measurement, and evaluation.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Very good English.
