Senior Product Manager owning the runtime infrastructure of a security automation platform. Lead strategy for events pipeline, orchestration, and distributed execution. Drive customer research, define requirements, and deliver scalable, reliable solutions for enterprise security teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end runtime domain, including events pipeline, orchestration, execution, and Runners.
- Lead the Runner deployment models, resource management, connectivity, and troubleshooting experience.
- Conduct customer research and technical deep-dives to understand scale, reliability, and pain points.
- Analyze customer escalations to identify patterns and translate them into engineering requirements.
- Make architectural trade-off decisions to optimize reliability, performance, and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering to define, develop, and launch new runtime capabilities.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of product management experience on backend/infrastructure products, or 2+ years with prior backend engineering background.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong cloud infrastructure fluency with AWS and GCP.
- Experience with high-scale systems handling significant event throughput or distributed execution.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to ask the right questions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to lead teams and interfaces without direct authority.
- Strong technical communication skills, explaining distributed systems to customers and translating pain into specs.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent technical background.
Nice to have
- Experience with message-driven architectures (PubSub, Kafka).
- Familiarity with service-to-service communication.
- Background in security, DevOps, or automation platforms.
- Experience with hybrid deployments (cloud services connecting to customer-managed agents/runners).
