Responsibilities
- Shape product strategy and identify what to build next.
- Translate user problems and opportunities into product concepts and features.
- Own features from discovery and UX through specification, development, launch, and iteration.
- Improve onboarding, activation, discovery, engagement, and retention.
- Use user feedback, analytics, and behavioral data to identify friction and opportunities.
- Define and improve flows across the mobile experience.
- Work with engineering to deliver practical, high-quality implementations.
- Prototype and test ideas quickly.
- Help establish early-stage product processes and standards.
- Help evolve the product from a recipe utility toward a consumer social product.
Requirements
- Strong product judgment and understanding of consumer products and user behavior.
- Experience building digital products; mobile and consumer-facing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of UX, interaction design, and usability.
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear product solutions.
- Experience working closely with engineers.
- Comfort using analytics, experiments, user research, and feedback to guide decisions.
- Ability to prioritize in an early-stage environment and balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Independence, curiosity, ownership, and interest in building a product over the long term.
Nice to have
- Hands-on Figma skills and UI/UX design capabilities.
- Experience with consumer apps, social products, creator platforms, marketplaces, food technology, growth products, or early-stage startups.
