Senior Product Manager - Credit Cards & Payments

Lead product management for credit card and payment products. Drive strategy, business plans, P&L, market analysis, vendor negotiations, and data insights. Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders. Requires 5+ years and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives and identify business opportunities for credit card and payment products.
  • Develop detailed business plans, economic models, profitability analyses (P&L), and assess economic viability of new initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis including consumer trends, technological developments, local and international regulation, and competitor activity.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop innovative and attractive products for customers.
  • Build and lead annual and quarterly work plans including business, regulatory, and technological development goals.
  • Manage ongoing negotiations with external suppliers, credit card companies, schemes (Visa, Mastercard), Bank of Israel, and clubs.
  • Define efficiency and product improvement targets, write specification documents, and lead development processes with measurements.
  • Collect, analyze, and process data on purchases, customer activity, customer quality, revenues, issuances, and translate into business insights and action plans.
  • Develop and manage dashboards and performance reports to track product and initiative success.
  • Manage multiple interfaces internal (IT, legal, compliance, customer experience, risk, product, banking divisions, accounting, senior management) and external (credit card companies, schemes, Bank of Israel, clubs).
  • Build processes with branches and call center, including digital customer processes.
  • Create training materials, guide and train professional teams.

Requirements

  • Relevant bachelor's degree (economics/business administration/engineering or similar), master's degree is an advantage.
  • 5+ years experience in product management, business development, or strategy, with emphasis on credit cards, payments, or consumer credit in a leading financial institution and/or fintech.
  • Deep familiarity with business models in credit and payment-based financial products.
  • Proven experience in building business and economic models, and P&L analysis.
  • Very high level of Excel.
  • Strong strategic thinking with high execution ability and meeting targets.
  • Deep analytical approach and ability to translate data into practical business insights.
  • Ability to lead and motivate without formal authority.
  • Effective negotiation skills and excellent interpersonal relationship management.
  • Ability to work in multiple interfaces and with various levels.

Nice to have

  • Broad understanding of competition and international trends in payments and credit, and relevant regulation.
  • Ability to write SQL queries.
  • Experience working with Agile methodology.
