Senior Product Manager, Consumer Apps
Own the strategy and end-to-end development of consumer-facing web and mobile apps. Lead product direction, user engagement, analytics, retention, and monetization while partnering with engineering and business stakeholders and managing a team of 2–3 product and design professionals.
Responsibilities
- Own consumer app strategy and translate business goals into a prioritized roadmap.
- Conduct user interviews, gather feedback, and run beta programs to validate product direction.
- Define feature scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria; prioritize work across multiple teams.
- Partner with R&D through product discovery, delivery, and iteration.
- Monitor engagement, retention, and funnel analytics and use findings to guide roadmap decisions.
- Develop monetization strategy and supporting capabilities, including billing, entitlements, advertising technology, and payments.
- Manage a team of 2–3 product and design professionals.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product management experience, including significant ownership of consumer-facing web and mobile products.
- At least 2–3 years in a senior product leadership role.
- Strong understanding of consumer adoption, engagement, and retention.
- Experience defining product analytics, running experiments, and using data to inform roadmap decisions.
- Experience developing consumer monetization strategies, such as subscriptions, freemium, in-app purchases, advertising, or eCommerce.
- Track record of owning product strategy and making data-informed roadmap trade-offs.
- Direct experience engaging with customers and users to inform product decisions.
- Strong execution skills, including writing detailed requirements and acceptance criteria and prioritizing across teams.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams and participating in technical trade-off discussions and agile delivery.
Nice to have
- Experience in sports media, streaming, fan engagement, fantasy sports, betting, or sports technology.
- Familiarity with youth and amateur sports organizations and communities.
- Experience scaling subscription-based consumer businesses or international, multi-market products.
- Hands-on familiarity with analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or SQL.
