Product Owner Intern
Join a product team at a global enterprise technology company that develops software for disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and workload mobility. As a Product Owner Intern, you will own the product lifecycle for a domain, collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, and leverage AI tools to drive customer-centric solutions. This part-time role is based in Herzliya and is designed for students with at least 18 months remaining in their degree.
Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle of one or more product domains, from discovery through delivery and adoption.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges and business needs through direct engagement with customers, Customer Success, Support, and Sales.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Executive leadership to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Translate customer problems into valuable product solutions.
- Manage and continuously refine the product backlog, balancing customer value, technical complexity, business priorities, and engineering capacity.
- Prioritize features and enhancements while considering customer impact, technical dependencies, delivery timelines, and strategic objectives.
- Partner closely with Engineering throughout the development lifecycle to clarify requirements, resolve trade-offs, and ensure successful delivery.
- Use data, product analytics, customer feedback, experimentation, and AI-powered insights to support product decisions and measure success.
- Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate product discovery, documentation, competitive research, customer feedback analysis, and day-to-day product execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve both products and the way Product teams operate.
- Present product initiatives, roadmaps, and outcomes.
- Define, track, and continuously improve product KPIs, adoption, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Requirements
- A student with at least 18-24 months remaining in a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering & Management, or Data Science.
- Passionate about technology, innovation, and solving customer problems.
- Naturally curious, eager to learn, and excited to explore new technologies and ways of working.
- Analytical, data-driven, and comfortable making decisions based on both quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Interested in Product Management practices, including AI-assisted workflows.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and product execution.
- A strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
- A team player who enjoys leading through influence, building consensus, and working across multiple disciplines.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Previous Product Management or Product Owner experience (industry, startup, or military service).
- Familiarity with enterprise software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, storage, or cybersecurity.
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence.
- Experience using Generative AI tools to improve research, analysis, documentation, or workflow automation.
- Basic technical understanding of APIs, virtualization, cloud technologies, or software architecture.
