A leading computer hardware company is seeking a Product Engineer to maintain high-quality product deliveries through data and failure analysis, yield improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The role involves solving complex problems with process, mechanical, hardware, test, and thermal teams, and driving factory test plan enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality product deliveries by performing data and failure analysis
- Improve product performance by solving complex problems with cross-functional teams
- Lead high-impact task forces and working groups to drive critical initiatives
- Craft and enhance factory test plans to improve coverage, time, cost, and yield
- Drive yield improvement and address failure Pareto
- Manage failure analysis for field and production failures
- Collaborate with customer support, marketing, engineering, quality, and reliability teams
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of proven experience
- Strong background in statistics and data analysis (JMP)
- Good understanding of manufacturing line
- Basic knowledge in optics and microelectronics
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven problem-solving and prioritization abilities
- Effective communication skills with complementary teams
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience working with AI tools
- Experience in PCB assembly processes
