Lead the electronics and connected product development strategy for a global consumer goods portfolio. Drive innovative consumer products, build in-house electronics capabilities, and collaborate with global stakeholders and external partners from concept through production.
Responsibilities
- Lead IoT and digital product development initiatives across the electronics portfolio.
- Drive end-to-end PCBA design, embedded firmware development, and hardware-software integration.
- Build and scale the organization’s in-house electronics development capability.
- Partner with EMS contractors and external electronics vendors to support development, validation, and production readiness.
- Support technical decision-making, component sourcing, and certification readiness for electronic products.
- Guide the development of connected products, including BLE, Wi-Fi, cloud connectivity, and app integration.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including Design, Digital, Marketing, Machine Development, and DTV, to ensure successful product integration and alignment.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in electronics R&D, embedded systems, or hardware-software integration, ideally within consumer products or adjacent industries.
- Strong hands-on experience leading PCBA design, firmware development, and electronic component sourcing.
- Proven track record of building in-house electronics capability or transitioning development from outsourced to internally owned models.
- Experience managing EMS contractors, electronics partners, and regulatory certification processes, including CE, FCC, EMC, and RoHS.
- Proven experience working in a global, cross-functional environment with international stakeholders.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
