An executive leader is sought to direct R&D and Engineering for a global company developing and manufacturing water infrastructure solutions. The role focuses on mechanical engineering, innovation, product development, and alignment between engineering, manufacturing, operations, and business growth
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop R&D and Engineering teams
- Define and execute the technology and engineering roadmap
- Drive new product development initiatives
- Oversee Product Engineering, Production Engineering, and Test Lab activities
- Establish robust engineering processes and continuous improvement
- Identify emerging technologies and market opportunities
- Partner with Operations to improve manufacturing performance, quality, and efficiency
- Strengthen engineering methodologies and organizational capabilities
- Build cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Product Management, and Operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Extensive experience leading R&D and Product Engineering organizations in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Proven record of new product development and engineering innovation
- Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and complex projects
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew
