Lead a distributed software engineering team building AI-enabled SaaS for manufacturing. This hybrid role is based in Tel Aviv and includes regular office attendance three or more days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a distributed team of up to 10 software engineers through coaching, regular one-to-ones, feedback, and clear career paths.
- Provide technical leadership and help establish the site's operational, cultural, and team-building foundations.
- Contribute hands-on while overseeing project delivery, code quality, and system architecture.
- Set team goals and expectations, track performance metrics, and use data to drive results aligned with company objectives.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, operations, QA, and customer-facing teams, and communicate priorities and changes to stakeholders.
- Identify and improve repeatable team and company processes, and foster an inclusive, supportive team environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of SaaS software engineering experience
- At least 2 years of software team people management experience
- Experience hiring, mentoring, and supporting career development
- Experience leading cross-functional teams delivering technical and customer-facing features
- Strong understanding of testing and deploying systems in multicloud and multitenant environments
- Familiarity with integrating software components and third-party technologies
- Experience architecting systems that integrate agentic and generative AI capabilities
