Lead the technical execution of complex naval systems projects involving unmanned surface vessels, vessel modernization, and combat management systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the chief engineering authority for complex naval projects
- Lead technical coordination and oversight across development teams and stakeholders
- Ensure engineering solutions meet performance, quality, schedule, and budget requirements
- Manage the full engineering lifecycle from requirements analysis and system design through implementation and delivery
- Act as the primary engineering interface with program management
Requirements
- Mandatory bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
- Mandatory proven leadership experience, such as team leadership or project leadership
- At least 5 years of experience developing and integrating multidisciplinary systems across software, hardware, and mechanical engineering
- Deep engineering knowledge and the ability to coordinate across multiple technical disciplines
- Strong decision-making skills, including prioritization, trade-off analysis, and engineering activity management
Nice to have
- Naval or maritime systems experience
- Willingness to travel internationally
