Software Engineering Team Lead
Lead and mentor software engineers developing high-performance software for cellular networks. Guide technical direction and architecture while contributing hands-on to scalable monitoring and analytics systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a software engineering team.
- Make architectural and technical design decisions for high-scale, performance-critical systems.
- Own projects from design and implementation through deployment and continuous improvement.
- Contribute hands-on to development, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and R&D teams on technical roadmaps and delivery.
- Develop scalable, reliable software infrastructure for cellular networks.
- Promote engineering practices, code quality, design reviews, and technical innovation.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and align engineering teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience, including strong hands-on modern C++ experience.
- Experience leading software engineers, technical projects, or development teams.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing high-performance, low-latency, or large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Linux environments.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.
- Ability to drive technical initiatives from concept through production.
Nice to have
- Experience with 4G/LTE, 5G, core or radio networks, or other telecommunications technologies.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and network architecture.
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency, real-time, or distributed systems and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, microservices, and containers.
- Experience with performance profiling and large-scale production systems.
- Background in cybersecurity, network intelligence, or monitoring and analytics.
- Experience in a technological military unit.
