Lead grid integration strategy and connection initiatives for renewable energy projects, coordinating technical interfaces, stakeholders, and consultants across development and operational work.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical grid strategy and coordinate grid interfaces and requirements for renewable energy projects.
- Drive initiatives to accelerate grid connections and shorten project connection timelines.
- Optimize grid injection and export rights, remove constraints, and expand connection capacity.
- Oversee connection applications, registration, payments, appeals, follow-up, and stakeholder coordination.
- Act as the official contact for the Israel Electric Corporation and respond to regulatory stakeholders.
- Support project synchronization, PPA execution, electrification, issue resolution, and schedule acceleration with construction teams.
- Manage local and international power-grid and electrical-infrastructure consultants.
- Collaborate with internal departments and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with transmission or high-voltage distribution networks.
- Familiarity with Israel Electric Corporation and Noga processes and stakeholders; former employees are encouraged to apply.
- Experience leading cross-organizational projects.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Nice to have
- A master's degree.
- Experience with GIS systems.
