Lead end-to-end development and delivery for a large-scale technology project involving multiple development teams. Combine hands-on technical leadership with responsibility for architecture, engineering standards, system quality, and delivery across cloud and on-premise environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of a large-scale technology project
- Coordinate technical work across multiple development teams
- Make technical decisions covering microservices architecture, Java development, cloud, on-premise environments, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Define and drive development standards and system quality practices
- Work closely with team leads, developers, architects, system analysts, and product managers
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience leading software development as a Software Development Manager, Tech Lead, or Lead Developer
- At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience, preferably with Java
- Strong experience with microservices, distributed systems, API design, and service-to-service communication
- Experience with cloud and on-premise environments, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, unit testing, code quality standards, and code reviews
- Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Nice to have
- Experience migrating monolithic systems to microservices
- Infrastructure knowledge
- Information security experience
