Lead a six-person engineering team spanning backend, full-stack, and AI development. Own scalable data-pipeline infrastructure and agentic systems that generate structured web-extraction templates for an enterprise real-time web intelligence platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, manage, and hire a team of six backend, full-stack, and AI engineers.
- Own the architecture, delivery, operations, scalability, cost, and stability of production data pipelines.
- Design and implement supporting interfaces, platform components, APIs, plugins, and MCP integrations.
- Partner with product and delivery teams to define and prioritize pipeline solutions.
- Lead the architecture and continuous improvement of agentic extraction-template generation.
- Improve extraction-template coverage, accuracy, and scale.
- Promote AI-native engineering practices and mentor the team in day-to-day AI development.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of team leadership experience across two or more workplaces.
- At least 6 years of backend engineering experience with production-scale data pipelines.
- Strong people leadership, communication, team-health ownership, and hiring experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Python and high-scale production systems.
- Experience with LLMs, agentic architectures, evaluation and benchmarking, and prompt or context engineering.
- Ability to make independent architecture and build-versus-buy decisions.
- Startup experience and ability to communicate directly with customers.
