Lead the day-to-day execution and development of a software engineering team in a growing remote SaaS organization. Partner with Product, Design, and senior engineering leadership to deliver reliable software while maintaining technical quality and sustainable team practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineers through coaching, feedback, performance support, and career development
- Own sprint planning, task allocation, delivery tracking, and execution with Product
- Translate product and technical requirements into actionable engineering plans
- Maintain standards for code quality, documentation, testing, architecture, and technical debt
- Identify delivery risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, and communicate solutions proactively
- Partner with senior engineering leadership on priorities, architecture, tooling, and processes
- Participate in technical discussions and review engineering decisions
- Support engineering hiring and onboarding
- Protect product quality, engineering stability, and sustainable team practices
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including 2 or more years in engineering leadership or management
- Strong technical foundation and ability to lead technical discussions, evaluate engineering decisions, and provide technical guidance
- Hands-on experience with Bubble.io or strong familiarity with no-code and low-code development platforms
- Experience managing software delivery in an agile environment, including sprint planning, prioritization, and execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, ownership, and ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS Lambda or comparable cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers and bindings
- Experience with CRM integrations, APIs, or partner technology ecosystems
- Background in B2B SaaS or partner relationship management
