Lead the Agent Group for a cybersecurity scale-up developing a real-time cloud threat detection platform. Manage 10–15 low-level engineers, partner with Team Leads, report to the VP of R&D, and influence technical strategy while working in a hybrid Tel Aviv environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Agent Group and oversee core engineering and low-level development.
- Manage and scale a team of 10–15 low-level engineers, including Team Leads and direct reports.
- Drive the architecture and implementation of high-performance agents deployed in client cloud environments.
- Shape the technical roadmap and broader company direction as a senior engineering leader.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
- Collaborate directly with global customers and report to the VP of R&D.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience managing managers at Group Manager level.
- At least 7 years of overall R&D leadership experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on low-level C/C++ development focused on kernel or internal systems.
- Expert knowledge of Linux internals, kernel development, and eBPF.
- Background in an elite military technology unit or leading cybersecurity company.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

- Experience with cloud-native security environments.
