Senior Cost Analyst
Lead costing, profitability analysis, and asset management for a global crop protection company. Analyze product and supply chain costs, develop costing methodologies, and support executive decision-making. Requires 7+ years in FP&A or cost accounting, BA in Economics, advanced Excel, and fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor product, manufacturing, and supply chain costs.
- Develop and maintain global costing methodologies and policies.
- Perform profitability analyses and identify cost drivers.
- Monitor cost changes and evaluate impact on profitability.
- Support standardization and improvement of costing processes.
- Partner with finance teams to ensure consistency of costing models.
- Conduct financial analysis of inventory, fixed assets, and allocations.
- Analyze asset utilization, productivity, and capital efficiency.
- Support asset capitalization, depreciation analysis, and planning.
- Build business cases for asset investments.
- Develop dashboards for asset and inventory management decisions.
- Conduct monthly analyses of actual results, forecasts, and budgets.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Economics, Cost Accounting, or Corporate Finance.
- Bachelor's in Economics.
- High proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Ability to manage and manipulate large datasets.
Nice to have
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or multinational environment.
- Experience with costing methodologies, inventory analysis, or asset management processes.
