Finance Analyst
Manage end-to-end finance operations for an Israeli entity, partnering with local accounting providers and regional teams on accounting, reporting, cash management, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly accounting close, including General Ledger entries, inventory postings, cost-center allocations, accruals, and margin adjustments.
- Coordinate monthly closing, reconciliations, and statutory bookkeeping with the outsourced accounting provider.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and variance commentary; contribute to regional reporting and Group closing packages.
- Reconcile inventory files and monitor stock valuation and cost of goods sold.
- Administer banking relationships and payments; monitor cash and support cash-flow forecasting.
- Manage local procurement and review employee expense reports for policy compliance.
- Provide financial analysis and modelling for pricing negotiations and distribution agreements.
- Coordinate local statutory, tax, VAT, and regulatory finance requirements with advisors and internal teams.
- Perform internal controls and support compliance reviews.
- Administer entity finance-system configurations, including expense management and ERP mappings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a finance analyst, accountant, or controller role
- Experience with corporate online banking platforms and payment processing
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision
- Familiarity with planning and consolidation tools such as Kepion
- Understanding of Israeli statutory, VAT, and regulatory finance requirements
- Strong Excel skills, including handling large datasets, General Ledger detail, and complex reconciliations
- Fluency in Hebrew and English
Nice to have
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA
- Experience in a multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare company
- Experience coordinating with an outsourced or local accounting provider
- Experience with ERP implementation
- Knowledge of the Israeli pharmaceutical market access and payer landscape
