Senior FPGA Engineer
Own FPGA architecture and RTL development for high-speed, real-time signal processing systems. This is a full-time, on-site individual-contributor role in Ra'anana, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Own the FPGA development lifecycle, including specifications, RTL design, simulation, synthesis, timing closure, lab bring-up, and system integration.
- Design and optimize multi-gigabit data paths for multi-antenna RF arrays.
- Implement real-time signal processing, FFTs, channelizers, and digital beamforming architectures.
- Integrate high-speed ADCs and DACs and protocols such as JESD204B/C, PCIe, DDR, SerDes, and multi-gigabit Ethernet.
- Collaborate with RF, hardware, algorithms, and embedded software teams to deliver a reliable integrated platform.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of hands-on RTL development using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
- Experience designing multi-gigabit interfaces and high-throughput data pipelines, including JESD204B/C, PCIe, DDR, or SerDes.
- Expertise with Intel (Altera) FPGAs and Quartus Prime, or substantial Xilinx experience and ability to work with Altera platforms.
- Practical experience with real-time DSP, RF sensing, radar, or satellite communications.
- Lab experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, SignalTap or ChipScope, and QuestaSim.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience with digital beamforming or multi-channel antenna processing.
- Background in satellite communications, military radar, or high-speed data center communications.
- Experience with multi-FPGA architectures.
