Senior FPGA Engineer

A defense company is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer for multidisciplinary development projects in the Central / Shfela area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop FPGA components for complex systems.
  • Create FPGA architecture, RTL designs and technical documentation.
  • Build test benches and run simulations.
  • Integrate FPGA components with embedded and system-level environments.
  • Debug designs in the lab using JTAG tools and test equipment.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, systems engineering and integration teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer or Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of FPGA development experience.
  • Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog and Xilinx/AMD or Intel/Altera FPGA components.
  • Experience with FPGA tools such as Vivado, Quartus, Vitis or ISE, or similar.
  • Understanding of digital design, timing constraints, CDC and timing closure.
  • Hands-on lab debugging experience.
  • High level of English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Matlab, Python, Tcl or Bash.
  • Experience with communication interfaces such as Ethernet, SPI, UART, I2C, PCIe, DDR or SERDES.
  • Experience with embedded systems or C programming.
  • Experience leading development teams.
