Responsibilities
- Design systems and develop production software for the platform and its data infrastructure.
- Integrate vehicle-data and verification tools.
- Maintain reliability, security, and performance across services.
- Review code and make architectural decisions jointly with the founder.
- Build marketplace transactions, user-generated listings, trust features, and consumer-facing tools.
- Release product improvements iteratively and share product, business, and operational responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong full-stack engineering background spanning frontend, backend, and architecture.
- Experience building and maintaining production software.
- Experience with marketplace, C2C, or B2C platform products, preferably in a vertical market.
- Native Hebrew; English, Russian, or German also requested.
- Analytical skills for interpreting vehicle and market data.
- Able to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and explain technical concepts.
- Comfortable with early-stage uncertainty, shared product and business responsibilities, and a two-person founding team.
- Commercial mindset and willingness to contribute as a co-owner; financial stability and ability to contribute to early funding are expected.
Nice to have
- Experience in the Israeli automotive sector, including cars, motorcycles, trucks, or buses.
- Familiarity with leasing, financing, and traditional vehicle purchasing.
- Experience with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Elastic, Redis, Kafka, TailwindCSS, Alpine.js, or Astro.
