Join a business-facing technology team developing complex data pipelines, AI/ML systems, and firmwide software platforms for systematic financial research and strategy deployment.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical objectives and provide technical leadership
- Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and AI/ML systems
- Make software architecture and design decisions
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with researchers, portfolio managers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop and maintain firmwide platforms and tooling
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 7 years of Python development experience focused on data engineering and AI/ML systems
- Expert knowledge of Python and its ecosystem, including Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and efficient data pipelines
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Expertise in Git, CI/CD practices, and agile methodologies
Nice to have
- Experience in the finance industry
- Experience with PyTorch or scikit-learn
- Experience with large language models, agents, or agent systems
