Lead the establishment and management of a cybersecurity center for a large government organization in Tel Aviv. The role combines SOC oversight, threat intelligence, advanced technology research, and organizational change leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced technology research and derive insights from Big Data.
  • Oversee cybersecurity control, monitoring, and operational oversight.
  • Define, plan, and establish a cybersecurity center, managing staff and managers directly and indirectly.
  • Lead SOC change initiatives, strategic partnerships, measurement practices, and the data program.
  • Develop the threat intelligence approach to produce situational assessments and support decision-making.
  • Set security strategy, policies, procedures, and methodologies for routine and emergency operations.
  • Lead the team and implement significant organizational changes.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience performing responsibilities relevant to the role.
  • Proven experience establishing and leading a SOC or a threat intelligence function.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead significant management and organizational changes.
  • Eligible for the required security clearance.
  • Willingness to work overtime and non-standard hours.
  • A relevant qualification through one of the accepted routes: a bachelor's degree in computing, exact sciences, or technological engineering; a computer or technology diploma; at least 400 cumulative hours of professional cybersecurity training without a degree; or relevant technological experience in a military technology unit or another security organization.
