Lead cross-organizational cybersecurity projects, operationalize regulatory and policy requirements, and manage security procedures and risk processes for a large government organization. The role follows a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Manage routine and cross-organizational cybersecurity projects from start to finish.
- Translate regulatory requirements and policy documents into operational methodologies.
- Establish, implement, and enforce organization-wide cybersecurity and information security procedures.
- Coordinate teams and integrate efforts to implement cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and manage cybersecurity risk assessment processes across the organization.
- Maintain ongoing control and review mechanisms to keep procedures current.
- Manage concurrent projects, including penetration tests, access-control reviews, and risk assessments.
- Lead implementation and coordinate ongoing work with development, applications, and infrastructure units.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience managing IT and technology projects.
- Experience leading cross-organizational projects and implementing processes.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects, such as penetration tests, access-control reviews, and risk assessments.
- In-depth familiarity with cybersecurity and information security procedures, methodologies, and standards.
- Experience writing and implementing procedures and work methodologies.
- Proficiency with project and task management tools.
- Academic studies in computer science, computer engineering, industrial engineering and management (information systems specialization), or information systems management; alternatively, another academic degree with advanced information systems coursework, or a computer/technology practical engineering qualification.

- Experience working with information systems departments and digital units in large organizations.
