Technical Product Manager – AI & Automation
As a Technical Product Manager, you will lead AI and automation initiatives, developing prototypes with LLMs, RAG, and automation tools, and consulting on AI use cases. You'll build internal AI structures, mentoring colleagues, and drive AI integration into client projects for a digital agency.
Responsibilities
- Bring AI into projects and to clients by sparring with POs and project leads to identify AI opportunities.
- Estimate feasibility, effort, and business value of AI use cases.
- Build prototypes using LLMs, RAG, agent workflows, and automation tools (e.g., n8n, Make).
- Write solution concepts for the development team.
- Set up custom chatbots for client projects, develop MCP interfaces, refine prompts, and ensure output quality until POs can handle it independently.
- Expand internal AI structures: tools, processes, standards.
- Gradually transfer AI knowledge to POs and developers.
- Establish best practices and evaluation criteria for use case decisions in alignment with management.
Requirements
- Deep technical foundation with significant experience in software development and/or systems architecture.
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner, technical project lead, consultant, or senior developer with customer contact, ideally in digital/agency environments.
- Solid understanding of modern web architectures: API-first, headless, REST/webhooks, integrations with CMS, CRM, and ERP.
- Productive proficiency in Python or TypeScript for prototyping.
- Practical AI experience: LLMs, prompting and context engineering, RAG, automation tools.
- Practical agile methods experience.
- Ability to translate technology into business value for decision-makers and developers.
- Proactive, creative in generating use cases, and realistic about feasibility.
