Join a startup revolutionizing last-mile delivery with automated parcel infrastructure. As Technical Product Manager, you will drive the development of a multi-product platform, collaborating with industrial partners and leading European parcel carriers from concept to market success.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central interface to industrial partners across all products, managing joint roadmaps, technical development, and industrialization.
  • Drive the platform-based development of new products, building on the existing foundation.
  • Gather and translate requirements from leading parcel carriers into clear product specifications for internal teams and partners.
  • Plan and oversee pilot programs, define KPIs with customers, and ensure successful market introduction.
  • Support technical development and IT interfaces with customers and partners.
  • Define cost targets and success metrics, tracking them throughout development and rollout.
  • Monitor milestones, timelines, and deliverables, providing regular status updates to leadership.

Requirements

  • Technical background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or industrial engineering, gained through a degree, PhD, or several years of professional experience.
  • Affinity for IT and mechatronics, with an understanding of how mechanics, electronics, and software interact in complex products.
  • Experience in developing and coordinating complex hardware products, ideally in close collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • Structured, analytical, and hands-on working style.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, able to engage everyone from developers to customer executives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, independence, and a desire to help shape a growing venture.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to industrial partners and customers across Europe.
  • Fluency in German and English.

  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the Cologne area.
