Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities
- Analyze existing product management structures, processes, and responsibilities
- Develop and implement role models, governance structures, and accountability frameworks
- Introduce and continuously improve product management methods, standards, and tools
- Define and document binding processes, control mechanisms, and decision pathways
- Steer organizational implementation, evaluate effectiveness, and derive optimizations
- Independently manage selected complex products and product groups
- Create, maintain, and evolve product descriptions, features, and strategies
- Analyze market, customer, and usage requirements to identify optimization and innovation potential
- Support portfolio management with prioritization, investment decisions, and risk assessments
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business administration, business informatics, public management, or equivalent qualification
- Relevant professional experience in product management at an IT service provider or software company
- Deep understanding of product management requirements for a municipal IT service provider
- Proven experience managing products across various lifecycle stages and leading cross-functional teams
- Experience with hybrid product portfolios
- Strong moderation, communication, and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking with high analytical and conceptual abilities
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent German language skills (written and spoken)
- Class B driving license and willingness to travel
