Join a large retail company to lead the optimization of onsite search, ranking logic, and product findability. You will drive the search roadmap, analyze performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the digital customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Analyze search queries, result lists, product rankings, and findability to identify weaknesses and develop optimization measures for search parameters, ranking logic, and relevance criteria.
- Conduct structured testing of adjustments to search logic, filters, and ranking mechanisms, evaluating their impact on result quality, product findability, and user experience.
- Collaborate with product owners and category managers to clarify product relevance priorities and translate business requirements into actionable search logic.
- Create and maintain a roadmap for search system development, prioritizing requirements from marketing, e-commerce, and other stakeholders, and ensure transparent communication.
- Manage search-related projects from requirements to go-live, including project management and evaluation of new technical opportunities with external service providers.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in business administration with a focus on marketing or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in e-commerce, digital product management, or a comparable role, ideally in retail, trade, or FMCG.
- Knowledge of onsite search optimization, filters, ranking logic, or product data management.
- Strong analytical skills with routine handling of KPIs, search queries, and user behavior to derive insights and optimization potential.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills, able to align with various departments, IT teams, and external providers.
- Experience in prioritization, roadmap planning, and requirements coordination with a structured, results-oriented approach.
