Seeking a Product Manager to own the product vision and roadmap for a cloud-based leasing solution built on SAP BTP. The role involves end-to-end leasing process design, financial modeling, and collaboration with IT and client teams. Responsibilities
- Own the functional and conceptual development of the Lease & Rent solution, ensuring leasing processes, financial logic, and accounting implications are correctly modeled and scalable on SAP BTP.
- Manage end-to-end leasing processes across the entire lifecycle, including operating and finance leases, and ensure compliance with IFRS and local requirements.
- Translate business leasing and financial logic into system-ready, scalable processes.
- Define and continuously evolve the target vision for the Lease & Rent solution.
- Build, maintain, and own the product and implementation roadmap.
- Derive, prioritize, and quality-assure requirements.
- Embed Lease & Rent functionally on the SAP Business Technology Platform, with conceptual understanding of SAP FI/CO logic and ERP integrations.
- Collaborate closely with IT architecture, development, and integration teams.
- Support customer onboarding and implementation projects, considering country-specific leasing and financial requirements.
- Contribute to global template and rollout approaches.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, (business) mathematics, economics, (business) engineering, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in leasing, ideally supplemented by knowledge in finance/accounting and contract or asset management.
- Very good understanding of leasing processes and their financial and accounting implications.
- Experience in the SAP environment, particularly with SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO – functional).
- Ideally, experience with SAP BTP or cloud-based extensions.
- Very good German and English language skills.
