Portfolio Manager
Drive portfolio strategy for the U.S. data center and utility segments, delivering actionable insights, defining technical requirements, and integrating them into factory planning and cost structures for medium-voltage switchgear.
Responsibilities
- Deliver actionable insights for the U.S. data center and utilities markets, analyzing performance trends, customer architectures, and load profiles.
- Collaborate with Product Lifecycle Managers to define technical and operational requirements for new products, ensuring compliance with IEEE standards and U.S. regulations.
- Integrate requirements into factory planning, cost structures, and capability roadmaps.
- Monitor factory performance, identify cost deviations, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Validate technical assumptions and coordinate cost impact analyses for global product design changes.
- Define and challenge productivity and cost reduction targets, evaluating optimization levers based on technical processes and scalability.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in product, system, operations, and R&D environments.
- Deep knowledge of medium-voltage switchgear for primary and secondary distribution.
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards and U.S. market requirements.
- Proven ability to analyze markets and drive portfolio strategies.
- Intercultural competence and experience collaborating across teams, ideally with the U.S. market.
- Structured, analytical, with business acumen and technical depth.
- Excellent communication and partner management skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Willingness to travel internationally (20%).
