Join an early-stage MedTech venture developing an AI-powered robotic platform for echocardiography. As Head of Product and Strategy, you will drive company strategy, product development, clinical validation, fundraising, and organizational scaling, working closely with the founders to transform cardiac imaging.
Responsibilities
- Shape overall company strategy, business model, and go-to-market approach
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive analyses
- Develop commercialization strategies for Europe and the US
- Translate clinical needs into clear product requirements
- Drive product development toward design freeze and product-market fit
- Ensure execution against milestones, timelines, and budget
- Coordinate clinical validation and usability studies
- Support regulatory strategy toward CE marking and FDA approval
- Build and maintain relationships with clinical partners and key opinion leaders
- Prepare investor materials and support fundraising processes
- Engage with investors, strategic partners, and grant providers
- Strengthen partnerships with industry leaders
- Support hiring of key team members
- Establish KPIs, processes, and reporting structures
- Contribute to a high-performance, execution-driven culture
Requirements
- 5–15+ years of experience in MedTech, HealthTech, or medical robotics
- Experience in product development and commercialization
- Familiarity with medical device development (Class I–III)
- Exposure to clinical studies and regulatory processes (CE/FDA)
- Experience with fundraising or investor interactions
- Background in imaging, robotics, or cardiovascular care is a plus
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and driven mindset
- Ability to bridge clinical, technical, and business domains
- Effective communication with investors, clinicians, and engineers
