Own the global strategy and lifecycle for automated TIG and plasma welding systems. Translate market trends into product requirements, lead cross-functional development with R&D, and drive go-to-market for precision welding solutions. Collaborate with global teams and key customers in aerospace, pharma, and high-purity manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive global product strategy for automated TIG and plasma welding portfolio
- Manage full product lifecycle including power sources, torches, sensors, and automation modules
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to inform product roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D to translate requirements into technical solutions and lead prototyping and validation
- Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing, and sales enablement materials
- Support key accounts, OEMs, and integrators with technical expertise and pilot installations
- Ensure portfolio profitability and track KPIs
Requirements
- Engineering degree in welding, mechanical, electrical, or automation
- Experience in TIG and/or plasma welding in automated environments
- Strong understanding of robotics (ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa)
- Knowledge of welding systems, sensors, and automation integration
- Fluent in English and German
