Head of User Acquisition

Own user acquisition strategy, budgets, and campaign execution across a portfolio of mobile games. Lead one UA Manager and partner with ASO, Creative, Product, Analytics, and Finance teams to drive profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute acquisition strategies across at least three products, from prototyping and soft launch through scaling
  • Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across paid, programmatic, rewarded, and incentivized channels
  • Own acquisition and marketing budgets, forecast spend, and allocate investment according to product priorities and expected returns
  • Analyze campaign and cohort performance using ROAS, LTV, and ROI to prioritize tests and make scaling decisions
  • Manage and mentor one UA Manager, setting priorities and supporting their development
  • Manage advertising network and acquisition partner relationships, improve performance, and explore new traffic sources
  • Coordinate with ASO and Creative teams on store optimization, creative production, and campaign plans
  • Build creative testing frameworks and translate results into hypotheses and production priorities
  • Work with Product, Analytics, and Finance on launches, LiveOps, attribution, and acquisition economics
  • Present UA, ASO, and creative performance reports to the founders, including results, risks, and recommended actions
  • Agree on follow-up actions with teams and track progress against shared priorities

Requirements

  • Hands-on mobile game user acquisition experience and a track record of scaling campaigns
  • Strong understanding of free-to-play economics
  • Practical experience with AppLovin, Meta, Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, programmatic platforms, and rewarded or incentivized channels
  • Experience with mobile measurement partners such as AppsFlyer or Adjust and interpreting campaign and cohort data
  • Ability to build cohort-based LTV and ROI models, forecast spending, and allocate budgets
  • Experience with A/B testing, creative testing frameworks, attribution modeling, and incrementality measurement
  • Understanding of SKAdNetwork, server-to-server tracking, and mobile acquisition privacy requirements
  • Understanding of ASO and its relationship to paid acquisition and organic growth
  • Experience leading UA specialists, coordinating across teams, and managing advertising network and acquisition partner relationships
  • English sufficient to discuss campaign performance, present reports, and communicate with founders and international partners
