Lead the artistic vision and visual identity of a live console game. Guide art teams, maintain quality and consistency, and partner with creative and product leaders to shape long-term visual strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Set and drive the project's overall artistic vision and visual style
  • Work with Creative Directors and Product Managers on long-term visual strategy
  • Ensure art quality and consistency across internal teams and external contractors
  • Establish visual guidelines, review processes, and feedback loops
  • Create and guide the visual direction of game features
  • Mentor team members and support their artistic development
  • Coordinate with production to integrate visual solutions into the development pipeline

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Art Lead or Art Director in the game industry
  • Portfolio demonstrating released projects
  • Expertise directing art disciplines including concept art, environments, characters, vehicles, lighting, UI/UX, visual effects, and animation
  • Experience developing and maintaining visual styles across artistic directions
  • Strong understanding of composition, color, lighting, and the impact of visuals on gameplay
  • Understanding of game development principles and modern production pipelines
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Experience managing and leading diverse art teams

Nice to have

  • Experience directing UI/UX
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge
