Lead customer-facing solution architecture for a financial technology platform. Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions while partnering with sales, product, engineering, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers, sales, and internal stakeholders to understand goals, requirements, and constraints
- Design end-to-end architectures spanning infrastructure, applications, data, and security
- Assess technical feasibility, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and recommendations
- Advise customers and internal teams on architecture patterns, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Support pre-sales by leading technical discussions, presenting solutions, and building customer confidence
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to support effective implementation
- Create architecture diagrams, design documentation, and implementation plans
- Identify improvements to technical approaches, scalability, and customer experience
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role
- At least 5 years designing cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP and working with modern distributed systems
- At least 4 years partnering directly with customers or stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- At least 4 years contributing to end-to-end solution design involving APIs, data flows, and system integrations
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or data-driven platforms
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, serverless architectures, and containers
- Experience with API design, data modeling, and integration strategies
- Familiarity with cloud security practices and compliance considerations
- Experience supporting pre-sales presentations and technical demonstrations
- Relevant AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud architecture certification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field
