Global Product Manager, Hardware

Seeking a Product Manager to drive hardware product strategy and launch for a consumer manufacturing company. You will translate consumer needs into innovative products, manage the product lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Determine strategy and manage execution of new product initiatives and core product improvements through market launch.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and product differentiation.
  • Identify key research questions and assist in developing consumer learning plans; actively participate in research and share insights.
  • Define consumer target, positioning, key benefits, and features.
  • Develop product requirements and gain cross-functional alignment.
  • Work closely with industrial design, engineering, China team, and QA on product execution.
  • Lead gate meetings associated with product launch.
  • Track project timeline and ensure team hits key milestones.
  • Lead development of product packaging in partnership with the creative team.
  • Partner with channel marketing to develop selling stories for channel partners.
  • Manage ongoing business post-launch, including tracking product performance.

Requirements

  • MBA preferred or Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant product management or technical experience.
  • Brand or product management experience required; hardware product management experience a plus.
  • Passion for innovation with a strong track record of delivering innovative product experiences.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the consumer with ability to translate consumer needs into product requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, presentation, and verbal.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic thinking and focus on executional details.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with ability to analyze data and balance research with timeliness.
  • High level of curiosity and willingness to get hands-on in project work.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to work through unknowns.
