A retail automation company is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to connect hardware, embedded Linux devices, networks, and cloud services in production and customer environments.
Responsibilities
- Own systems integration across hardware and software products
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network environments for products and customer sites
- Manage and support Linux systems in production
- Develop scripts and automations for deployments, monitoring, and operations
- Troubleshoot complex networking and integration issues in live environments
- Work with customers and partners on technical integrations and on-site rollouts
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with enterprise networking and communication protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls
- Hands-on experience administering Linux and Windows systems
- Scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or equivalent
- Strong ownership and end-to-end problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Experience in management or team leadership
- Hands-on Docker experience
- Experience with REST and WebSocket APIs
- Customer training and onboarding experience
- Personal vehicle and ability to travel independently to customer sites
