Lead system-level development and integration of multidisciplinary laser-based medical systems and devices throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of complex medical systems and devices
- Translate user, product, business, and marketing requirements into system-level requirements
- Define, document, and manage design inputs and requirements flow-down
- Partition systems into subsystems, modules, and components
- Plan and lead system design and integration with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Drive product verification, validation, and system-level testing
- Collaborate with project and program managers on schedules and product performance
- Support sales and marketing with technical expertise
- Lead customer and internal problem resolution and escalations
- Perform root cause analysis and develop engineering change orders for in-service issues
- Work with regulatory teams to support compliance
- Gather field and production feedback to drive product improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in systems, electrical, electro-optical, mechanical, biomedical, or computer engineering
- At least 5 years of experience developing multidisciplinary products involving hardware, mechanics, software, and physics
- At least 2 years of systems engineering experience
- Fluency in Hebrew and English
- Experience resolving complex system issues with a hands-on approach
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in an engineering discipline
- Medical device development experience
- Experience working in a global company
- Knowledge of optics or laser systems
