Lead complex software and defense technology projects from initial requirements through development, integration, testing, installation, training, and final customer delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from early planning through final delivery
- Work with project managers to conduct surveys and manage development processes
- Translate customer requirements into system requirements and design documents
- Coordinate software development and QA teams throughout development and testing
- Support installation, customer training, and delivery activities
- Integrate innovative technologies, including AI, into requirements analysis, solution optimization, and system alternatives evaluation
- Coordinate with multiple internal teams
Requirements
- Experience characterizing software systems such as C4I, radar, communications, or SIGINT systems
- Experience working with software development teams
- Understanding of software technologies, including development environments, infrastructure, databases, and communications
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with AI and machine-learning tools for scenario analysis, performance prediction, or data-driven decision support
- Understanding of AI integration into systems engineering and development processes
